What does Batsu/Maru mean? In Japanese batsu (bah-tzu) and maru (mah-roo) are often represented as a X and O, meaning wrong and right. We know XO as a symbol of love, a signature of endearment. For us, Batsu/Maru began from a love for creating and exploration of material.
